“Be Careful Before You Invite The Wrath Of God Upon Your Family” — Gospel Artist Frank Gospower Advice Parents Of 11 Year Alleged Molested Child As They Demand N100m Compensation

On December 20, a video of Mrs Deborah Okezie, mother to Don Davis, an 11-year-old JSS1 student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, who was sexually molested and starved at school surfaced on the internet. In the video, Mrs Okezie lamented about her son’s status.  “They [senior students] will remove his boxer and push their legs and hands into his anus,” she said. “Look at a child I sent to school,” she adds, “he came back with a broken anus.”

Within days the video had gathered massive attention leading to a reaction from the school, government intervention, corporate bodies as well as online protests. Although there has been a mix reactions as the case progress.

While some are demanding justice for the poor child, others such as Gospel singer Frank Gospower believe that the parents of the boy might be pulling this stunt to either soil the name and image of the Church or a means of getting huge cash out from the school.

In his view he believes that the manner in which the parents of the alleged child is taking the matter is going against the rule of justice. He urged them to stay clear and allow free transparency of investigation by the legal authorities or else ready to face the wrath of God.

When approached by Starzone official in an online conversation, this is what he had to say;

In his word;

Since it has to do with church the parents should allow proper investigation to be carried out by right authorities than just coming out to demand for 100m, them doing so it’s seems they have a hiding agenda against the school or it’s a plans to spoiled the name of the school and the church.

Already the principal of the has been suspended by the church authority, and the state government has also setup a panel of investigation via the office of the commissioner of education of Akwa-Ibom state.

Although Pastor Kumuyi the CEO/Founder of Deeper Life Bible Church has urged to get justice for Don Davis, while Mr Solomon Ndidi the principal of Deeper Life High School Idoro, has been currently suspended following the molestation saga.
