Gracious David West, an alleged notorious serial killer was arrested today by the Police in Rivers State.
According to the Nigeria Police Force, the 26-year old killer from Buguma LGA of Rivers State, who is said to be a member of the Degbam cult group was arrested along East-West Road enroute Uyo from Port Harcourt. He has since made useful statements to the Police.
CP Mustapha Dandaura, the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State will be briefing the media on this significant arrest on Friday as the suspect made useful statements to the Police.
CP Dandaura added that investigation is on with a view to ascertaining the suspect’s motives and possible accomplices.
Several women have been reported dead in similar style since July 2019. On Wednesday, residents had a walk in protest of the killings.
The police has also shared a video of the suspect confessing to the crime.
