Today on Starzone Gist we will be talking about one of Port-Harcourt hit makers currently in the custody of “Young Wealth Record”.
No doubt it’s the dream of every upcoming artiste to be signed by a record label but in most cases you can’t find greener pasture in every label. Sometimes you can make it bigger and better alone and that brings us back to Obidiz and Young Wealth Record memory lane.
The Port-Harcourt act and CEO Fly Guy Entertainment is fondly called “Oye egwu” which means “Song maker” due to his spectacular performance in the industry . Over the years Obidiz has been the fans favorite serving us hot with back-2-back hits in a shorts periods which made him a household name in the whole of South-South.
From his tracks “Obi Is a Boy” to “Men ft. Zoro” to “Gimme Luv” and finally down to “Jah ft. Dj Joonel” has all been hits after hit which in turns paid off by attracting the Young Wealth Record boss Duncan Mighty to signing him into his record label earlier this year and boooooom that was the last time we stopped hearing of the hit maker.
After months of sealing deal with Young Wealth Record with no good results spilling fort and the year also drawing to an end fans are beginning to cry out to the Young Wealth Record boss to save Obidiz’s career by emulating from his Lagos counterpart “Olamide” the CEO YBNL who just recently signed 4 street guys and in less than 36 days has already shot world class videos making trends all over the media.
DO YOU THINK THERE’S A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR OBIDIZ IN YOUNG WEALTH RECORD?
Please let’s hear your comments.
