Allow me to be sincere with you now cuz this is a serious matter. No doubt it is the dream of every artist to be singed to a record label, it helps to clear your head from so many responsibilities thereby allowing you to concentrate in crafting out good songs.
You don’t necessarily need to smoke weeds or go on hard drugs before coming up with dope vibes, most times all you need is a clear head free from worries. I get series of messages from artists asking me to either sign them or help them look for a record label. This is a total wrong perception of thinking🙅‍♂️, as an artist who believes in his/her product and wants the best for his/her career you don’t go about hunting for a record deal.
I understand we all wants the burden to be lifted especially when you have a free studio to recored at will. But ask yourself, can you assure them of money back guarantee? Do you really have what it takes? How many songs have you recorded so far, and how many have pushed even at the underground level? Does your friends or family members even know your songs?
Record labels are not charity homes, they are out for business too (also wants money just like you). Begging for a record deal has automatically disqualify you no matter how good you are because you’ve lost your value. So rather than making yourself look cheap and worthless by running after record labels, do this instead.
👉Participate in every song challenge, it doesn’t matter whether you win or not cuz it’s an avenue for showcasing your talent and self advert.
👉Follow your targets on all social media as to be updated on their activities.
👉Do freestyle videos and upload on your fbk, twt or IG pages and tag your targets (labels or individuals)..Very important👌
