On the 10th of September, 2023 one of Port Harcourt’s finest Photographer and, Online Publicist, Roy Clintson and, another Photographer (Overhype Matthias) were robbed.
The new camera that was gifted him by Mrfunny (Oga Sabinus), to support his Photography business was stolen. While people were out there congratulating him, he was undergoing treatment from the wounds he incurred as a result of the stab and, beating they received from the robbers.
He bought the camera on Saturday, 9th September and, was robbed on Sunday while they were trying to board a vehicle; from an event they had gone to cover. The other photographer too was robbed off his camera and, phone.
Not only was Roy Clintson robbed off the new camera, they also made away with a 85mm Nikon Lens, a 14mm – 24mm Nikon Lens and, a speedlight he hired.
While he is currently working towards replacing the equipment he hired, the other photographer is also left to start all over again.
All effort by the Police to to track the criminals has seem abortive.
